Lone Worker?

Tuesday, May 27th, 2008

An increasing number of people work alone, either some or all of the time. In some situations, working alone can create extra health and safety risks. If you are an employer of lone workers, or if you’re self-employed and working alone, it’s up to you to manage these risks.

Push To Talk, (PTT), is a new technology that is a faster, easier and more cost effective way to keep your team in touch. PTT allows lone workers to stay in communication in harsh environments, such as in refrigerated warehouses or isolated factory areas. If in distress, lone workers can simply request assistance at the touch of a button. Download further information on the Lone Worker Health and Saftey Solution here.

You can also download the guide on working alone in safety from the Health & Safety Executive (HSE).
